Video: Partridge Postgame

BOCA RATON – FAU fell to Charlotte 28-23 on Sunday in a game that was postponed for a day by Hurricane Matthew.

Afterward, FAU coach Charlie Partridge discussed the game’s final play – a Hail Mary pass that FAU wide receiver Kamrin Solomon caught for a game-winning touchdown only to have the play overturned by replay officials.

Partridge also addressed the decision to give backup quarterback Daniel Parr relevant snaps in both halves and the Owls’ choice to employ press coverage as time ran down in the first half on a play that resulted in a long touchdown pass.

With the loss, FAU fell to 1-5 on the season, putting the Owls’ bowl hopes on life support.

FAU heads to Marshall next week.
