FAU overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat Florida Gulf Coast 92-88 in Fort Myers.

Tied at 82, Jailyn Ingram’s free throw with 4:08 remaining gave the Owls a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

From there, Justin Massey scored the next seven FAU points, including a clutch three-pointer with 1:33 remaining. Gerdarius Troutman’s two free throws with 19 seconds remaining provided the margin of victory.



Massey led all scorers with 21 points, including 7-of-9 from the free throw line.

The Owls have now won three consecutive games and are two games above .500  for the first time this season.
