FAU concluded its season on Saturday with a 77-56 loss at Middle Tennessee. FAU concluded the Charlie Partridge era on Sunday by relieving him of his coach duties following a third consecutive 3-9 season.
On this week’s OwlTalk, the first and still finest podcast covering FAU football, ESPN West Palm’s Brian Rowitz and our Chuck King discuss the circumstances that led to Partridge’s dismissal, including the Owls’ inabilities to make in-game adjustments and the likelihood that Partridge wasn’t getting the best out of the talent he brought to Boca Raton.
OwlTalk then stares deeply into a crystal ball we happened to have in the hall closet to examine some of the names who could be candidates for the FAU football head coaching job, including Luke Fickell, Joe Moorhead and Les Miles.
Will one of those names be the next to lead the Owls, or will someone else from this list emerge and become the new FAU football coach?
We’re busy sorting out fact from rumor so you don’t have to. All you need to do is listen to OwlTalk.
