BOCA RATON – FAU completed its season-opening sweep Monmouth with a 12-10 victory on Sunday.
The Owls led 10-2 after three innings and held on to win.
FAU survived a seven-run fourth inning from the Hawks.
Shortstop and lead-off hitter Tyler Frank enjoyed a five-hit afternoon, driving in three and scoring three more.
Esteban Puerta homered and drove in five runs.
