FAU is coming off win No. 2 of the Lane Kiffin era. The Owls seem to be developing a new attitude both on the field and off – one that allows them to jump ahead of team and then put them away.

The victory over MTSU snapped a streak of nine consecutive losses to the Blue Raiders. It also allowed the Owls to start Conference USA play with a victory. Which of those aspects is more important to FAU?

Host Brian Rowitz of ESPN West Palm and our Chuck King discuss that question and more on this week’s OwlTalk – the first and still finest FAU football podcast.

We also examine the impact linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair has on the FAU defense and ponder whether quarterback Jason Driskel has grabbed the starting quarterback spot for good.

Who knows? Listening to OwlTalk may turn out to be the best 10 minutes of your week (although, we hope you’ve had a better week than that).

At the very least the OwlTalk FAU football podcast will get FAU fans ready for this week’s game at Old Dominion. Will the Owls be 3-3, and more importantly 2-0 in Conference USA play, going into their bye. We’ll know shortly.
