BOCA RATON – FAU has one final tune up and, face it, Saturday’s welcoming of FCS-level Wagner better not be much more than a 10-minute oil change for FAU before heading into Conference USA play.
Coming off its first victory of the season, Lane Kiffin and FAU want to dispatch Wagner quickly and exit Howard Schnellenberger Field without any further injuries.
What can FAU fans expect from their Owls on Saturday? That’s the biggest topic tackled this week on OwlTalk with Brian Rowitz, the first and still finest FAU football podcast. But it’s far from the only one.
This week Rowitz of ESPN West Palm fame and our Chuck King discuss some of the newer faces who could contribute to an Owls’ victory on Saturday. They’ll also examine some changes to the FAU depth chart.
And the duo will also revisit FAU’s dreadful game day experience the Owls subjected their fans to in the home-opener against UCF and preview some of the changes Florida Atlantic intends to make for this week and future games – and predict what effect, if any, such changes will have.
Of course, we’ll also look back on Saturday’s 41-31 victory over Ball St., a win that put the Owls in position to enter Conference USA play with a 2-2 record – provided the Owls take care of business against Wagner.
So give OwlTalk a listen. Unlike other blatherings posing as information, OwlTalk has the inside info and analysis you crave. It will make you a better FAU fan.
