BOCA RATON – With FAU football on a bye week, OwlTalk with Brian Rowitz is going to change things up a bit.
Displaying the wisdom of a veteran, Rowitz used the bye week for some quality family time. That means we have a special guest for Owl fans.
Ken LaVicka, the voice of the Owls, jumps behind the microphone for a special edition of OwlTalk.
LaVicka and our Chuck King review the Owls’ dominating Shula Bowl victory, focusing on the highlights from yet another win in what can, at this point, barely be called a rivalry series. The Owls have now won 13 games over FIU against only four losses.
King and LaVicka discuss some of the biggest plays and trends that emerged from the Owls’ latest triumph over the school down south in the NCAA’s Southernmost Rivalry.
As the Owls prepare to close the regular season, the duo also looks back at some of FAU’s most improved units.
They also ponder FAU’s chances of reaching the Conference USA title game, and whether or not the season is a success if the Owls don’t reach that game.
Finally, LaVicka and King address the various coaching rumors surrounding Lane Kiffin. Could the Lane Train be ticketed for Arkansas? Seriously?
So give this special edition of OwlTalk, the first and still finest FAU football podcast, a listen. It will make you a better FAU fan.
