Louisiana Tech, one of the hottest teams in Conference USA, had little trouble dismissing FAU 95-69 in Shreveport, La. on Thursday.
The Bulldogs closed the first half with a 20-8 run, taking a 10-point lead into the intermission. Louisiana Tech steadily increased its lead throughout the second half.
The loss snaps the Owls’ three-game road winning streak. FAU has now lost three consecutive games overall.
Gedarius Troutman led FAU scorers with 13 points, including three-of-five from behind the arc.
