Hudson on the Atlantic

BOCA RATON – New FAU football coach Lane Kiffin continues to add to his staff.

Kiffin is bringing Keynodo Hudson from Southern Cal to be a defensive coach, a source tells OwlAccess.com.

Hudson had been a defensive administrative assistant for the Trojans.

For Hudson, the trip back to the east coast is a bit of a homecoming. He was formerly the head coach at Daytona Beach-Mainland.

Kiffin is also in discussions with former Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles to be the Owls’ new offensive coordinator.

Briles is the son of former Baylor head coach Art Briles.

Hiring Briles could be controversial move for Kiffin. Briles was suspended one game by Baylor for improperly contacting a recruit. He was not linked to the sexual abuse scandal that occurred while his father was still the Bears coach.
