People are expecting to see a wide-open passing offense in this game. While I wouldn’t be surprised if Partridge and company try to show off some new wrinkles in the #NoHuddleNoMercy offense, I’d expect the game to be the Buddy Howell/Jay Warren/Devin Singletary and Co. show.

FAU OL Byers Hickman has rejoined the Owls after missing much of fall camp recovering from an injury. He probably won’t be much of a factor this week against Southern Illinois, but he should play this year. Was on the second team following the spring. He’s a good piece to have.

A traffic accident will likely rob starting LT Reggie Bain of his season. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for Reggie.

FAU defeats Southern Illinois 38-30. FAU is 1-0 for the first time since 2012. Owl Nation, what did you think of the win?
