Rally Time

A five-run eighth inning propelled FAU to a 9-6 victory over Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday in Boca Raton.

Stephen Kerr’s two-RBI single proved to be the big blow in the inning, capping the scoring. The Owls scored two runs earlier in the inning on a couple of bases-loaded walks. FAU added another run on a balk.

Austin Langham’s two-RBI single highlighted a three-run first inning. FAU also scored another frame in the inning on the first bases-loaded walk of the game.

The win allowed FAU to sweep the two-game season series against Bethune-Cookman.
