The Owls dropped the opener 6-2 before rebounding with a 6-3 victory in the nightcap.

The teams elected to play two games on Saturday because bad weather is expected on Saturday.

In his best outing as a Owl, Alex House tossed FAU’s first complete game of the season, striking out 10 to improve to 3-1. He allowed three runs on four hits.

Eric Rivera’s two-run double highlighted a five-run FAU second inning in the nightcap that gave the Owls enough runs to win. Austin Langham added a two-run single in the frame.

FAU fell behind 5-0 in the first game and couldn’t recover.
