Former Owls guard Ray Taylor transferring to FIU

FIU has announced that former FAU guard Ray Taylor has joined its basketball team and will be eligible to play in 2013-14.

Taylor left FAU after the 2011-12 season and applied for the NBA Draft.

An FAU press release announcing Taylor’s departure in March said he intended to sign with an agent, but apprently he never put pen to paper. Taylor withdrew from the draft on June 19.

Taylor will join Dennis Mavin, who also left the Owls and has transferred to FIU.
