QB German on track to be at FAU for fall camp
By Chuck King
Melvin German may not be at FAU yet, but from what I'm hearing the Owls coaching staff isn't too worried.

A source with knowledge of the process "guaranteed" German will be in Boca Raton for this upcoming season.
German is finishing the final three credits he needs to enroll at FAU via an online course. Even though Pearl River Community College doesn't offer the class he needed during the summer, German chose to stay at that school in order to work out with his soon-to-be former teammates.
He is expected to be in Boca Raton by the end of July and will take part in a three-way starting quarterback battle that will also feature incumbent Graham Wilbert and redshirt sophomore Stephen Curtis. German threw for nearly 350 yards per game as a sophomore at Pear River - second best among junior college QBs. His experience operating the spread offense has many considering him to be the front runner to become the opening game starter.
Incidentally, linebacker Adarius Glanton from Eastern Arizona finds himself in a similar position as German. Like German, Glanton, too, is expected to be in time for the start of FAU's pre-season.
