Former Owls played for AAU program in trouble

The Florida Rams, a team loaded with talented college prospects which competes in AAU tournaments, is in hot water with the NCAA for involvement with an agent.
Among the penalties for that team, and a few others, is not participating in NCAA-sanctioned tournaments this month, a key month for the evaluation of college prospects.
It’s not clear what effect – if any – the Rams' ban will have on FAU’s evaluation plans for this summer. However, it would not be a shock if FAU had planned to look at a player or two from the Rams, which usually has some of the best prospects in the state. In the past, that program has provided the Owls with players such as Kore White and Darren Stewart, who both transferred from FAU.
On Friday, the Orlando Sentinel reported several of the Rams will play for other teams in upcoming tournaments. so it's possible FAU will still be able to evaluate some recruits who played for the Rams.
