Former FAU golfer Steve LeBrun makes cut at U.S. Open

Former FAU golfer Steve LeBrun has given Owl Nation another storyline to follow in the U.S. Open.

And thanks to his 5-over-par 75 on Friday, LeBrun will keep the intrigue going into the weekend. LeBrun made the cut at the U.S. Open by caging a birdie on The Olympic Club’s No. 8 hole – his last hole of the day since he started on No. 9 on Friday. The shot was shown on ESPN.

After two rounds, LeBrun is 8-over-par for the tournament and in a tie for 59th. LeBrun will tee off at 12:35 p.m. in a paring with Matthew Baldwin.

You can follow LeBrun hole-by-hole here.
