Thursday's Daily Briefing: See the Sea video from FAU's stadium

Wednesday's high point was way above sea level.

Ever since the stadium proposal passed, I've been looking forward to stepping into the press box, looking east and gazing toward the Atlantic ocean.

Yesterday I finally got my chance. Put together this quick video to show some of the views inside the stadium. Folks, the view is every bit awesome as you would hope.

You can actually see the Atlantic from the top level of the stands, though just barely. The press box is the top level of the tower, which is where much of the video is taken. Teams will actually shoot their video from up on the roof, so the view there will be even better for a select few.

I doubt you'll ever be able to see surfers, but even medium sized boats can be spotted on the horizon.

At its current pace the stadium is going to be all but finished about a month before it's scheduled to open, so at this point it would seem to be able to overcome some of those minor construction delays that always seem to crop up. So far, though, the planners and construction workers should be praised.

Believe it or not, work is going to become even more furious. Workers are close to entering 24/7 mode, which means there will be activity at the stadium around the clock.

Hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed putting it together. From everything I've seen so far, this stadium will likely exceed all but the loftiest expectations.

We told FAU fans about Andre Allen, a running back from the panhandle who de-committed from Ole Miss last week and will be on FAU's campus this weekend. Think he'll visit the stadium?
