Thursday’s Daily Briefing: A pre-season look worth a look

This is the time of year when everyone is an “expert” and it seems like everyone with access to the internet  has a prediction on what kind of year FAU will have.

Never mind the fact that many of the experts have never seen the Owls play a game or spent a minute on campus. No, you don’t have to attend every practice to give an opinion (of course, we do just to make sure) but a little research would be much appreciated.
There are exceptions to the rule and some out there do their homework. Phil Steele and Paul Myerberg of the Pre-snap Read come to mind.
I may add my man Danny Hobrock to the short list. At least he passes the preliminary test of showing he did his research by contacting the experts of FAU football (us, of course ) for help in his write-up.
You can read his breakdown complete with an excerpt by our Chuck King by clicking here.
