Sunday's FAU Daily Briefing: How to honor former Owls
By Marcus Nelson
The presentation of the proposed football stadium given to the FAU Board of Trustees on Wednesday was the most complete, detailed description of what the new digs will look like.
Because it doesn’t figure too much in the construction plan, one important detail wasn’t addressed.
What will be done to mark the significance of all the players (from 2001 to present day) who did so much for the FAU football program to get to this point.
Those players didn’t get to play in the new stadium, but they deserve to make sure they have a place in it.
It could be a hall, a suite, a plaque, monument or mural, but I know honoring the players who laid the ground work is important to Howard Schnellenberger.
It’s a safe guess that the wheels are already turning in his mind as he ponders a way to get those players proper recognition.
Any ideas out there on how to honor the former new players in the new stadium?

Put the Mark at the entrance were the team will enter on the field.Have the defence on one side and the offence on the other side of the MARK as they run out on the feild before each game.
