BOCA RATON – Those thinking they saw Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder walking the crowded pavements of Florida Atlantic’s campus need not check their eyeglass prescription. It really was Crowder.
The University of Florida graduate was on FAU’s Boca Raton campus to shoot a video that will help his mother’s business.
Pauline Crowder teaches Football 101 seminars – which are classes aimed at teaching women the rules, history and traditions associated with football. Pauline Crowder lists the site of all her courses on the Football 101 Web site (www.football101forwomen.com), along with other relevant information about the program.
FAUOwlAccess.com caught up with Channing on the Tom Oxley practice fields. The Gator graduate had some nice things to say about Owls coach Howard Schnellenberger and the FAU football facilities. Click on the video link to hear Crowder’s opinions.
Following the video shoot behind the Oxley center, both Crowders were carted to the Student Union where the video taping ended.
Crowder didn’t see Schnellenberger during the early shooting behind the Oxley Center, so after the production wrapped he made a special trip to shake hands with the coach he termed “legendary” before leaving campus.
FAU’s student-run Owl TV professionally handled the production. The products of the shoot are expected to air in the coming weeks.
