BOCA RATON – If McDonald’s has a line of customers wearing FAU uniforms and demanding burgers instead of breakfast sandwiches on Sunday morning, it can thank Nick DelGuidice.

The FAU shortstop stopped at McDonald’s for a Big N Tasty burger before arriving at the ballpark, then homered twice and drove in a school-record nine runs in the Owls’ 15-6 victory over the Eagles.
