On Saturday, former Auburn baseball greats Frank Thomas, Bo Jackson, Gregg Olsen and Tim Hudson were honored at Plainsman Park.

On Sunday, by looking at Auburn’s 17-4 victory over FAU, you would have sworn the former big leaguers played in the game.

The Tigers pounded out 15 hits off six Owls pitchers on their way to an easy victory in the Auburn Classic.

The Tigers (4-2) struck for three runs in the bottom of the first off freshman pitcher Kevin Alexander. Auburn added four more in the second with the most damage coming on a two-run homer by Fletcher in an inning extended when FAU committed two of its four errors.

FAU (3-3) finished 1-2 at the Auburn Classic.
