Who started the PrOwlers?

The group was started during the men's basketball run to the NCAA in 2002. Then, it was an unorganized group of spirit students. The "founders" were Jared Bordin, Pablo Paez and Will Perason.

In 2002, when Paez was SG President, he appointed me SG director of athletics and asked me to organize the group into a club and/or agency.

After two successful years, SG discontinued the program after I lost the election bid for Governor.

in 2006, the group re-organized and was backed by the Student Alumni Association under my leadership.

So... is it fair to say... that the founders were Jared, Pablo, Will and $mitty? Or more fair to say Jared, Pablo and Will founded the prOWLers, but it wasn't an official group until $mitty organized it in 2002 and re-organized it in 2006?

Smitty I'd say Will, Pablo and I were the founders but you made it what it is. We were just a bunch of students at basketball games that cheer loudly kind of like what I do with the Dirty Birds. Give yourself some credit to.

I remember being part of the Owl Corral in the 90s, so while we weren't the Prowlers, we definitely paved the way for them.

I saw the Dirty Birds at a few of the basketball games.  Do they come to other sports games?

A few? lol. There has been at least 2 Dirty Birds at every single home basketball game this season, with most games having about 6-7. There are a main group of about 8 guys/girls who represent the group as Founders, although there are many many more that we may not even know who represent the unofficial student section deemed The Dirty Birds.

I dont know. I've seen a few people wearing their shirts at some of the basketball games i've been to. Some of them are funny.
