FAU vs UNT Tonight!!! PREDICTIONS??

The boys are playing in a tough arena tonight, the SUPER PIT!!   FAU Bball has never won at UNT and tonight may be the day we break that streak.   The Super Pit is loud and the students are raucus.  They sit behind the visitors bench and make hell for the away team.  And they wear green, i hate green.    Anyways here's my prediction for tonight:

I say FAU starts out slow, getting behind the mean green by about 10 points.  They will come back late in the first half and take a small lead going into the second half. Ray T will keep the assists high and leave the scoring to the outside shooters.  They have a huge center (huge in terms of sunbelt centers) that will prolly give royster a hard time down low.  If brett goes up strong every time he should be able to manage, but im worried about the rebounds, especially on D.  In the end we are going to pull out a tough win on the road by 6 points 82-76 OWLS WIN.  Hopefully we can rain some 3's the whole game.  GO OWLS!

We care....We're just still recovering from Signing Day.

Good analysis BTW

This trip will be difficult. The team continues to surpass my expectations - no matter how frequently I adjust them. But even as well as they are playing I still don't think they win both games. The travel is tough for any team - let alone one so young.

Young teams tend to stumble in games where they appear to have the upper hand. I tend to think that is more likely in Denver, though, where the travel and the altitude will also play a factor. I guess that means I think they will win tonight in a close one, perhaps even by rebounding from a slow start like Burdman said.

FAU will hopefully pull out the win over UNT. I think it's more likely in Denton then in Denver, that's for sure. The combination of the altitude, playing so close to the UNT game and the fact that Denver is simply a good team spells trouble for the Owls.

If they somehow miraculously win both games, they deserve the title Real Deal. One win may be Luck, two is Real Deal.

I hope everybody caught the plane this time.

Remember this is the game last year that Paul Graham missed the team flight.

If he would have made it, FAU probably wins that game too. They Owls  lost 69-60
