I really hope that this team turns it arround this year. Ill hand it to jarvis, he's a good coach. I dont know how much of his BS i can buy into, but i know that he can run a good program. I sat in on a few practices last season to try and get a feel for how he directs. I liked that he was mic'd up so the player could hear him clearly. I also liked how he handled a mistake made by a player in practice. I forget what player it was now, might have been Paul Snoop Grahm... so snoop messed something up, jarvis stoped play.. didnt yell, called everyone into a circle and explained what snoop did wrong, and how to fix the problem. They went through the play again and he gave them praise when it was executed correctly.
Last year was bad. Loss loss loss loss loss loss.... i dont remember a season where we lost more at home than last. I took it lightly though, knowing that Jarvis didnt really have his hand in the selection and recruitment of players. He had to deal with all the bad blood put into place by Runaway Rex Walters (the cry baby, the coach who lays on the floor and then pretends he fell) Ill give Jarvis this year AND next year before i will question, complain or get concerned. Id like to see what he can do as far as recruiting and coaching with a fresh slate of players.
Sanchez Hughly is back in action this year. This WILL HELP our team. Sanchez is a stud of a B-ball player and if you remember 2 seasons ago, the kids got skills. Im excited for the season. Now.... Back to football!
