Anyone got their season tickets yet or are they going to be shipped out after the first game?

 Hope they send them soon!

I hope the University didn't have the postage meter funding cut!

I Picked up a season ticket package at the ticket office yeaterday, they are for a Owl fan who lives out of state which I wil give to Him at the Alabama game. As for my Tickets  I was told that they may be in the mail or will be mailed out soon. For all you season ticket holders you will notice on your tickets something is missing, that is game day starting times  are not printed on the tickets. I guess the starting times is a trade secret, I only hope FAU post the starting times aleast 1 1/2 hour before each game so I have  enough time to drive the 7 miles to the stadium. You know the traffic can be a problem and the waiting  in line at the stadium ticket booths is a must for all OWL FANS on game day.  We have been playing football for 10 plus years  so what is the problem in setting up game day dates and times ?. Why should it always be a hazzle and waiting for the last monemt to get things done ?. 

The tickets we received from UGA for the game up here in Athens also do not show the game time, just the date.

I don't know when they printed these up here because the start time for this game has been known for a while, but with television, all is subject to change nowadays!

The back of tickets state they have the right to change the date and time of any game as well! EVERYTHING now is for TV, the hell with the average fans who have to schedule work and travel and babysitters and...!

I would guess the times not being on tickets is absolutely because of TV and the possibility to change times.  If they print 7pm on the ticket and the time changes to 5pm, some people are going to miss it.  If there are no times printed, most will seek out the correct time IMHO.

A lot of colleges have games on their schedule that still don't have times.  For example, take a look at UM's schedule, they have 6 games (home and away) that are listed as TBA.  This isn't unique to FAU.  It all has to do with TV. 

Mine came while I was on vacation. Got silver parking passes too, but who the hell knows where they are. The map on the back is awful.

Got our tix and parking pass, but they moved us from next to the alumni center to the light blue lot in front of PBCC. WTF? Yeah, please move me further away from campus, the entrance to the stadium and the seats I have to pay extra for. I guess FAU likes having me call and bitch at them every year!

Have they ever put in a sidewalk to the west of the stadium tower?

So you can either;

a) walk all the way around the stadium or,

b) walk to the west of the tower from the north parking lots and PBC to the main gate or Alumni Center.

I found it extremely funny that will ALL the the walkways meandering about that they did not think to have a sidewalk on the west side of the stadium. That could have been laid out, formed and poured in ONE DAY! Guess that would have cost a couple of Mil more?

 I'm still patiently waiting but I wish they would hurry up !   Also, that Coach Jarvis is one smart dude. Tweeting about the football team when everyone is itching for sports.Just for that, I promise to attend more games this year. ( I was already going to any ways )

 Finally! The Season Tickets Arrived! - Monday the 20th

The Package was mailed out on the 16th of last week and it took 4 Days to travel 120 miles North to Palm Bay Fl with $1.30 postage on it. No wonder why the U.S.P.S. is going broke!

Definately "Snail Mail" for shure! 

Hey Canadian Owl we were also in the Orange Lot last year,this year its Light Blue for us also. It was nice to have the grass area so the kids could play and if you were short chairs the grass area was the back up. I'm curious to see if the rest of us all got moved to the Light Blue Lot. Anyway at least the tickets are in hand I was begining to believe we would have to go to the gate give a name and be escorted to the seats,what a mess if it happened we all would be on the Front Page of the Newspaper! 

We are the group that had the the FAU Flag with the Jolly Roger Flag last year so we will be on the lookout for the Canadian Flag in the lot. 

Perhaps "Owl Force One" will swing thru the lot and visit.
