GREAT NEWS for FAU and Carter. Hope he gets a waiver but if not, keep clean, get your grades and blow 'em away as a Senior and head to the NFL a proud Owl! Welcome Duron!

That is great news and what a week, when MGIII and Carter both take their first snaps in an Owl uniform.

Hope to have both on field in 2012, but of not - 2013 will be a great year.

As a reporter, there are times you tip your cap and say, well done. I'm proud to do that to do that today. FAU coaches worked hard to bring Carter to FAU. OwlAccess.com's Marcus Nelson put in extra effort to ensure FAU fans were up to date. It will be interesting to see where Carter's saga goes from here. FAU fans know where to look to see what happens next...

Heard there was some pushing and shoving between players during practice and Pelini jumped in middle of it. Supposedly he got really pissed when one of the players pushed him or something.

Did you guys see it?

I heard about that rumor too.

That could explain why Pelini blew off his usual post-practice press conference and didn't talk to reporters.

If it happened, it happened it must have during the part of practice that is closed to the media. I did not see it.

Can someone please tell me why FAU, and the other  Florida Football programs have not announce their game start times ?. is because they are waiting for the  all important TV money which may or may not come their way. How hard is it to say our game times are at 2,4 6, 8, or midnight why should it be a major secret.

At UF, FSU, UM, UCF and USF it is because of waiting for television schedules.

Ast FIU and FAU it's just becuase don't give a damn about their fans.

Actually just checked and all but the last two FIU home games have kickopff times so it's only FAU that could give a crap about their fans.

My apologies to FIU.

Uh-oh. Did anyone see this Tweet from practice...

@dkurtenbach
Duron Carter was kicked out of practice by receivers coach Jeff Sims, he returned and after a talk, he and Sims did a one-on-one drill

I saw, it but this story (by the same guy) says he was just "excused" not thrown out of practice.

I've been around plenty of practices in my day and there is a big difference.

And if he was "kicked out" how did he return?

I've read that  there are players still waiting for eligability matters to be finalized. This includes German and Carter. Any more info.?

Uh...Yeah

Carter needs a waiver or else he will have to sit out this year because he transferred,

German's situation is less clear. he is practicing, but is he fullly eligible to play? The coaches say they expect him to play but I wouldn't be shocked if he has to sit out.
