Looks like a guy who kicked butt at Ohio State, rose from the ground level to near the top and is ready to run his own department.

FAU has scheduled a press conference for 2 p.m. today  to announce a new athletics director.

Just in case you havent heard, we have confirmed it will be Pat Chun.

Just a guess that plenty of resumes are being sent out today from the Oxley Center.

Some of the dead weight will be let go pretty soon and those who are in over their head know it.

Agreed...

But one person who I think showed she is a valuable member of the department is interim AD Melissa Dawson.

She did a great job (Jarvis contract, handling of Dugan debacle, UM series, Lewis-Jay, etc/) during a difficult time and can help with the transition. I can think of many who need to be fired, but Melissa deserves a raise!
