VERY nice interview, GO ALFRED!
Morris will wear No. 46 for the Redskins
More press for Morris out of Washington: http://www.redskins.com/news-and-events/article-1/Morris-Hits-Ground-Running-In-NFL-Backfield/2d9f82ef-c6bb-4250-9314-02d261b1f24c
Another good read on Alfred!
RB Alfred Morris with a team-high 54 yards on 15 carries in Redskins' 7-6 victory over Buffalo.
He got almost a 1000 yards with lousy blocking it will be nice to see him
get lots of yards in the nfl with good blocking,
Well he did not get great blocking last night. Got one carry in 1st half and played with 2's and 3's all game (including qb's who were pretty much horrible). He might of felt right at home! Ha Ha!
a couple articles: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/41687/checking-in-on-the-redskins-rb-battle
Rookie sizzle: RB Alfred Morris isn't vying for the starting job at this point. But he looked good in his NFL debut, rushing for 54 yards on 15 carries. Though his long was only six yards, Morris was always falling forward for extra yards. He did not lose any yards on his runs. He made the most of mediocre blocking.
As bizarre at it seems , his experience in making yardage with FAUs crappy blocking may help him a lot with the redskins.

REALLY great interview, very laid back and honest! Go Alfred!
cool blurb on Alfred from espn's John Clayton on the skins website.
Q: Who are a few of your under-the-radar Redskins to watch right now?
Clayton: "I wanted to take a look and see where it was at the running back position, and I was very much intrigued by Alfred Morris. It looks like there’s some type of potential there; Morris broke a couple nice runs [in camp].
Here is USA Today's exhaustive FAU season preview.
Miami announced that the kickoff of the season opener against FAU will be at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
Right now, BoydsWorld has FAU at 32 and Troy at 31. A win today will flip that.
I heard back from Boyd. He gets his information from...
Remember a week ago when we were all wondering whether FAU could make the NCAA Tournament as an at-large? Well, if the Owls beat Troy today and...
Boyd's whiffed on FAU, missing its win over WKU yesterday. RPI should be about .557 rather than .555. It still has us at 32.
