North Texas also had the advantage of an AD that could land naming rights and worked hard to get his school into a better conference.

Please, let's get it right this time on naming an AD - the last few weeks have shown just how critical having a capable AD is to a school.

Whoever tries to sell the naming rights to FAU stadium needs to point out that if the name of the stadium is big on the outside of the press box, it will be seen by thousands of motorists driving up and down I-95 as it can be seen easily.     This is basically a free billboard.   I am assuming that is where the name of the stadium will be posted.   Hint,  are there any fortune 500 companies that are trying to get into FAU for business purposes?   I would look in that direction.  It could be a win win for both parties.

AND let's get OUR NAME on the side of that sucker for the VERY SAME REASONS. Can't beleive they did not AT LEAST leave the huge banner up that was there during construction! That was pretty nice.

The wind from one of those late summer storms shredded that banner. They didn't want to spend the money to create another - I think in part because the school believed it was close to getting a sponsor. You're right, though, I thought the banner was a good looking stop-gap.

Did nor realize that, thanks for the update. I am sorry but by the stadium opening game I still would have had another temp banner up there, smaller maybe but something...

I agree. But all things considered, I'm still shocked they got the stadium open on time. It looked pretty darn good.

A high school stadium get real !. Let's face it our stadium is not a Ford Field,Georgia Dome, or the Supper dome in New Orleans, it dosen't compair to any of the 100,000 plus seat stadiums FAU has played in except for that nasty thing they call the swamp at UF. I have been to all the Sun -Belt venue's they do not compair  with FAU. The North Texas stadium looks like a filet fish and you sit on a steel bench with no backing overlooking a very sterile looking field, the only color in the stadium is the green field. Not to mention the mile walk from the parking lot across the interstate which you pay $10.00  you can pay $25.00 to park 1/4  of a mile from the stadium or if you perfer pay big bucks to park your car within 150 yards behine the stadium.  Half of the Sun -Belt football stadiums are nice but can't match up to the house that "Howard" Built. We as FAU FANS should be great full on what we have. And as supporters we should  be helping in making things better . And that takes getting our as---- in seats. Enough of this negative and and start enjoying all our Athletics programs.

As for MJ, my vote is on her, she the one who got Howard's House built !. she and the Trustee's are keeping FAU on the map. Let's face it the State of Florida is not a fan to it's universities.
